Why Sting SC

Founded in 1985 as Idaho's inaugural youth soccer club, Sting SC has achieved consistent success, including multiple Idaho Youth Soccer State Cup Championships, a US Youth Soccer National Championship, multiple US Youth Soccer Regional Championships, and three semi-finalist appearances in the Development Player League (DPL) National Championships. Current teams have qualified for the EA League and GA Aspire National Championship events. With over 150 alumni who have gone on to play at the collegiate level, Sting SC fosters athletic excellence alongside the personal development of every player.

Sting SC distinguishes itself with a highly qualified coaching staff featuring USSF A, B, and C licensed coaches, unmatched in the region. They bring knowledge gained from coaching and playing at every level, and are committed to ongoing education to provide exceptional training and mentorship for all players.

Sting SC offers development programs tailored to every age and skill level, from introductory programs for young athletes to advanced training for elite players. The club's structured curriculum supports technical ability, tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and mental resilience, a holistic approach that's distinctive in our region.

Financial barriers should not impede player participation. Sting SC maintains competitive pricing aligned with other clubs in the region while striving to offer a superior experience, and we offer financial assistance so every player has the opportunity to compete.

Sting SC is the only club in Idaho that is a full member of the Elite Academy (EA) League for boys and the only club in Idaho that is a full member of GA Aspire for girls, national platforms offering high-level competition and exposure. We are also the only club in northern Idaho in the Pre-Academy League (PAL) for U11 and U12 teams, with strong connections to college coaches nationwide.

Sting SC features premium indoor and outdoor training venues, enabling year-round play regardless of weather. Plans are underway for a state-of-the-art, illuminated training facility through our A Field for All Seasons campaign.
