Sting Academy EA is the highest level of competition for boys ages 10 to 19 in our club. These teams compete in top local, regional, and national leagues, offering a premier training and playing experience for committed athletes.

All Academy teams are led by licensed professional coaches (USSF A, B, and C) and follow the club’s development curriculum. Academy players train at least four times weekly at our indoor and outdoor facilities. The season runs from November through the start of the fall high school season.

Our Academy boys' teams compete in the Northwest Conference of the Elite Academy (EA) League, a national platform comprising high-level clubs that meet top development standards. The EA provides year-round, high-level competition and showcases, allowing players to grow, compete, and be seen nationally.

Sting SC is the only full club member of the EA in the state of Idaho.

The EA also plays a key role in operating MLS NEXT’s Tier 2, creating a direct connection between the EA and MLS NEXT. This provides even greater development and exposure opportunities for players within our program.
