Sting SC Joins Girls Academy(GA) ASPIRE League
Coeur d’Alene, ID – April 23, 2025 – Sting Soccer Club (Sting SC) is proud to announce its acceptance into the prestigious Girls Academy (GA) ASPIRE League. This significant milestone marks a new chapter for our girls’ program, providing elite-level soccer and exciting new opportunities for players in our club. Sting SC has a long-standing tradition of nurturing talent and promoting the personal and athletic growth of its players. Through participation in the ASPIRE League, Sting SC aims to further enhance its player development programs, offering top-tier training and development, exposure, and opportunities for our players.
The prestigious acceptance into the Girls Academy (GA) Aspire League recognizes the club’s dedication to excellence, our commitment to player development and coaching development, and the accomplishments or our teams. Being a part of the ASPIRE league benefits every player in our organization by opening new opportunities for growth, exposure, challenges, and achievement.

The ASPIRE League is the newest competitive platform under the Girls Academy (GA), designed to:
- Bridge the gap between the GA's top-tier league and elite youth soccer
- Provide merit-based competition that rewards performance and progress
- Create clear pathways for individual and team advancement
- Align with U.S. Soccer development standards to enhance player growth
The move to the ASPIRE League delivers several immediate advantages for our players and our club:

Sting SC will be hosting tryouts May 19-23, 2025, offering players throughout our region the chance to join our club to be a part of the GA Aspire (Girls) and the Elite Academy (Boys)!

About Sting SC
Sting SC was established in 1985 as the first youth soccer club in the state of Idaho and is the most successful competitive soccer club in northern Idaho, winning numerous Idaho Youth Soccer State Cups, a US Youth Soccer National Championship, and competed in multiple DPL (girls) National Championship final fours. The club has a long history of developing players who have excelled at all levels of the college game. We focus on the soccer education and personal growth of each of our players while emphasizing the incredible benefits of camaraderie within a team and throughout the club.
Sting FC is a member of the Idaho Youth Soccer Association (IYSA), US Youth Soccer (USYS), US Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), and US Club Soccer.
